MUSI 100 - Fundamentals of Music 2 CR
This course develops the fundamental skills necessary for reading music and understanding rhythm and melody. This course prepares the non-music reader for MUSI 130 . Lab Fee
Course Learning Outcomes:
- Demonstrate the ability to identify and utilize the basic elements of music (melody, harmony, rhythm, form, texture, and timbre).
- Demonstrate basic keyboard and vocal proficiency.
- Demonstrate functional working knowledge of musical terminology.
- Demonstrate the ability to organize musical ideas and sounds creatively.
- Demonstrate the ability to make aesthetic judgments.
