Historical survey of art from prehistoric ages to the Renaissance.
Requisites: Next Gen ACCUPLACER® reading score of 244, or at least a grade of C in TSRE 55 .

Course Learning Outcomes:
- Identify the stylistic characteristics of visual artworks corresponding to particular historical eras or movements.
- Analyze works of art in terms of media used and applied compositional elements or principles.
- Interpret the overall content and aesthetics of visual artworks.
- Evaluate the relationship between artworks in comparison to the cultures or societies that produced them.
