EDUC 200 - Foundations of Education3 CR This course introduces students to the historical, sociological, philosophical, and legal foundations of American education with a focus on educational issues and cross-cultural comparison. Special emphasis is placed on the professional responsibilities of teachers. Students are required to complete 8 to 10 clock hours of field experiences comprised of classroom observations in pre-K through 12th grade settings in public and private schools. Lab Fee
Prerequisites & Requisites: ACCUPLACER® reading score of 60, or at least a grade of C or P in TSRE 55 or ENGL 151 .
